One of the earliest houses built in Hood River, our spacious front porch has welcomed friends and family to gather for well over 100 years.

THE HEART OF IT

The McCravey family purchased and renovated the hotel in 2001. Tremendous care went into bringing the home up-to-date with modern comforts while preserving historical details. The award-winning gardens have become a fixture in the neighborhood, and the shaded courtyard is the envy of passersby. The hotel brings cheer to Oak Street throughout the year with ever-changing seasonal and holiday decor.

A HISTORY OF HOSPITALITY

Built in 1909, this house has been an inviting haven for travelers and locals to gather. For generations, our living room was a nexus for community meetings about growing fruit in our fertile valley, building the library, and social progress. During WWII, recovering soldiers and their wives were housed here. We carry the tradition of gracious hospitality forward by providing a safe and welcoming retreat for all.
