Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum, The Dalles
About 25 minutes from the hotel, discover the internationally recognized destination for its natural Pacific Northwest beauty and cultural richness. There is a fascinating raptor program. The riverwalk is 10 miles along the banks of the Columbia River with the section by the Discovery Center with buildings from the early settlers.

Just a 5-minute drive from the hotel, discover this vibrant center’s wonderful collection of Gorge history, with changing exhibits and interactive experiences with spring tea parties and fall cemetery tales reenacting the past.
Bonneville Lock & Dam Visitor Center
About 30 minutes away, experience the true engineering feat that is the Bonneville Dam. Right here on the Columbia is one of the world’s largest hydroelectric systems, which touches the Oregon and Washington borders with two powerhouses, recreation areas, interpretive centers, fish ladders, and sturgeon ponds.
Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum, Hood River
Only 10 minutes away, see an impressive collection of working antique aeroplanes, cars, motorcycles, tractors and military jeeps. The second Saturday of every month, from 10-2pm, volunteers drive and even fly these antiques.
